This Privacy Policy explains how BM Group International ApS (“TigTidy”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit TigTidy.com, contact us, or interact with our dealer network.

This notice is provided in line with the GDPR information requirements for data collected directly from you.

2) What personal data we collect

We collect personal data that you provide to us and data collected automatically when you use the website.

A) Data you provide

  • Contact and enquiry data: name, company, email, phone, country, message content, attachments (e.g., photos of welds).
  • Dealer requests: your location/region and product interest so we can identify the nearest dealer.
  • Support requests: product details, purchase channel, fault descriptions.
  • Newsletter/updates: email address, consent status, preferences.
  • Orders: billing/delivery details, order history, payment status (payment card details are typically handled by the payment provider, not stored by us).

B) Data collected automatically

  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, approximate location (country/region), referring page, timestamps.
  • Cookie data: identifiers and preferences stored on your device (see Cookies section below).

3) Why we use personal data

We use personal data for:

  • Responding to enquiries and providing information about TigTidy products
  • Connecting you with the most relevant authorised dealer and supporting the dealer handover
  • Providing customer support and handling warranty/service matters
  • Processing orders and delivering products
  • Sending updates/newsletters (only where you have opted in, where required)
  • Improving site performance, content, and user experience
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and securing our services

4) Legal bases for processing (GDPR Article 6)

We rely on the following legal bases depending on the context:

  • Contract / steps before contract: to respond to product enquiries, fulfil orders, and provide support related to a purchase.
  • Legitimate interests: to run our business efficiently (e.g., routing enquiries to dealers, improving the website, maintaining security), provided your rights do not override those interests.
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies and marketing emails where required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: where we must retain certain records (e.g., accounting/tax or compliance requirements).

5) Dealers and sharing your data

TigTidy is sold through authorised dealers. If you ask us to find your nearest dealer (or request a quote/demo), we may share relevant details with the appropriate dealer, such as:

  • name, company, email, phone
  • country/region
  • your enquiry details and product interest

Dealers may act as independent data controllers for their own sales process. Where required, we will clarify the dealer’s role when we introduce you.

6) Service providers

We use trusted third parties to operate the website and run our business (e.g., web hosting, ecommerce platform, email provider, CRM/helpdesk, analytics, payment/shipping providers). These providers process personal data on our behalf under contractual terms consistent with GDPR requirements.

We do not sell personal data.

7) International transfers

If personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA (for example, because a service provider hosts data in another country), we will ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism is used (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) and apply additional safeguards where needed.

8) Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • make the website work (essential cookies)
  • remember your preferences
  • measure website performance and usage (analytics)
  • support marketing (only where enabled)

Where required, non-essential cookies are only set with your consent via our cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time.

9) How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, including:

  • Enquiries and dealer requests: typically kept for a reasonable period to manage follow-up and sales history (e.g., 12–24 months), unless you request deletion and we have no legal reason to retain it.
  • Support cases: retained while your case is active and for a period afterwards for quality and warranty traceability.
  • Marketing subscriptions: until you unsubscribe (plus a record of your consent/opt-out as needed).
  • Orders/invoices: retained as required by applicable accounting/tax laws.

10) Your rights (GDPR)

Depending on your situation, you may have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to processing, and receive a copy in a portable format.

To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@tigtidy.com. We may need to verify your identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

11) Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (e.g., access controls, least-privilege, encryption where appropriate). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond quickly to incidents.

12) Children

TigTidy.com is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was most recently revised.

14) Trademark notice
